I created a group and by mistake I left it after a couple of minutes. Yesterday the group was still showing up on searched but I could not make myself a member. Today the group is not showing up on searches anymore so I thought: let's recreate the group.
This didn't work with the following message: "A group with this name already exists."
Anyone knows how I get my inital group back? Rember the group is not available anymore in SL.

Any group that has less than 2 people for 48 hours will be disbanded. That's an excerpt of an article from the SL Knowledge Base. http://secondlife.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=123 Give it the 48 hours for the group to be dissolved and remake or you can ask to be reinstated into your group through Live Help. To get to live help inside the SL client, go to Help > Help Request and then IM Live Help about your situation. |

I received the following answer from LindenLabs
" Once a name has been used, it's not available anymore (even if group dissolves). You will need to use a different name. "  |
