Relocate the cache?

I've got a new system that I'm dual booting; it's got a smallish "C" drive, and a much larger "other" drive. I'd love to be able to relocate the SL cache directory from the "C" drive to the other drive; there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to do that. I'm using Windows XP at the moment, although I could be convinced to use Linux as well (that's the other OS).

Is there a way to move the cache, and if not, could we get one?

Please use the search function on the forums, this has been discussed many times:

OK, I didn't search for that. That looks more like a hack than a "enter directory for cache here" box.

That is unfortunately correct. For compatibility purposes, we have to put our files in the Windows Application Data folder, which is unfortunately in a very fixed location on the C: drive, and can't be changed easily.

Indirectly related when your system is setup like that install your apps on the D: drive. Whilst SL is quite small so in this case won't help much doing so means you preserve as many settings as possible should you need to reset the C: drive due to data corruption or whatever.
