While traveling in Mexico, I tried to install SL on a friends PC. While the connection from my laptop (Mac OS X) through his router worked fine, we never did get it working on his 1-year-old desktop running Windows XP-Spanish Language Version. Thus, I am convinced it is not a firewall issue with the router or his machine (we shut off all his firewalls), but something else. Unfortunately, unlike on the Mac, Windows XP cannot simply be switched from one language to another. Thus, I couldn't test my theories about the language issue out once I got back to the States. Has anyone successfully installed and run SL on a machine running XP-Spanish?
