Hi, I'm a newbie to SL so be gentle with me!  When I'm in SL I don't seem to see any of the textures. Everybody is white and featureless. The shapes are right. Like when I change from straight leg to boot cut jeans the shape of the pants change but there is no color or pattern change. Am I doing something wrong? Could it be my graphics card isn't good enough? I have a PC with Win XP, 1 gig of RAM and a cable modem. Thanks for any pointers! |

However, there is also an intermittent bug in SL right now that causes a lot of people to experience long (in some cases LOOOOOOOONG) loading times for a lot of textures. P2 |

Don't know my graphics card off hand. I'll have to check when I get home. Thanks for the info!
