I can't freakin log in. It gets all the way to "connecting to region" then dies, and I get "CRASH LOGGER" window pop up. It does what it does then clears to my desk top. At least USE TO it would go ahead and bring up the log in page. Its been doing this ALL week can SOMEONEEEEEEEEEE please tell me wtf is going on????

Try each of these:
Make sure you have free disk space on C:
Clear the client cache.
Get new graphics driver.
Restart Computer.
Reinstall SL

Brand new pc... two wks old....
I have reinstalled sl ....... THREE TIMES
I got in after relogging 5 times yesterday afternoon. But not since then. SL is the reason I have this new pc so its got more than enough space. Cache is clean.

Sounds like some aspects of your new PC -- either components or configuration settings -- are not compatible with SL. "New" does not automatically ensure that it can run SL.
If you provide a profile of your system, any number of people here will be able to help you.
Profile:
Processor
Motherboard
Graphic card(s)
Memory
Operating system
That information will help reveal the issue.

or it could be the grid monkeys tinkerign with building a better monster.
i have also posted on the forums similar problems as this(loggin in and gettin the crash logger, then nothing). perhaps its those "improvements" to the grid spoken of in the blogs that are interferign with "normal" usuage?
ok just had the crash logger incident happen again,(its amusing to me how as i peruse the forum i see others with the same issue, what are the odds)
try this the next tiemit happens: reboot both Your modem and your computer. seems to help me. however never had to do that unril this update. go fig :/

Maybe check your firewall? I have problems with that each time they update. SL will seem to be starting...my firewall window will pop up asking for permission, and even though I click to "allow", it wont start.
Try deleting the programs related to SL from your firewall. Then restart SL and see what happens..
Just a thought.........
