nVidia GeForce Go 7600 - anyone know if its compatible with SL? The list of "ones that don't work with SL" doesn't list it, but you never know....

Should. I have GO5200. (64 meg) It throws off some heat and my fan, processor and ram run at max but no graphics problems.

Let me amend my reply in that when I start or teleport with only 64 meg it takes a few seconds to draw and in a heavy area might be a minute before every detail is done.

Thanks for the replies.
At the moment I am using a very aged Radeon 9200 which takes forever, so I am sure the NVidia Go will be a marked improvement on that! Its actually a Go 7200...but I guess the same will apply.

There's a big difference between teh 7600 and the 7200. Whereas the 7600 may have had its own video RAM, the 7200 will definately be sharing RAM with the computer. SO make sure your laptop has plenty of RAM so you can dedicate as much as possible to the video card and still have plenty left over for the computer.
