Please can someone possibly help me?

I'm going on twelve hours with this unresolved issue...

I was working on a building on my land which is in the corner of a sim. I was in an adjacent sim and that sim crashed, instantly logging me out. I got an error message telling me I had to wait five minute before I could log in again. This was around 9 AM Linden Time (PST).

I waited about 15 minutes then logged back in but the oddest thing happened. Suddenly I was stuck. I could not move from my position, hovering in place in the sim next to mine.

I tried everything I could think of - detaching everything, removing my clothing (only in SL would one think to try that to fix something), and even changed my skin and shape. But nothing worked at all. I remained glued in position.

I tried teleporting. That seemed to work - I appeared elsewhere, but when I TP'd near the place where I originally crashed I saw myself! When I came within about 100 meters of myself I'd instantly snap back into my crashed self and be stuck again.

So at 11:08 AM Linden Time I filled out a Support Ticket. I'm a premium member so assumed help would be swift. Well, more than two hours later I get a reply to tell them the "exact" location even though I told them I was stuck at the intersection of three sims and gave the name of all three of them.

So I logged in as an alternate avatar and went and saw my stuck avatar still floating there even though I wasn't even logged in as that one. I tried pushing it to see if maybe it would unstick if it crossed into an adjacent sim. That's when things got really ugly.

I pushed my stuck avatar and when it hit the next sim, you know - that point when there's a little "jerk" suddenly the avatar turned into a phantom and I would pass right through it, no longer able to push it.

I logged back in as the stuck avatar and was instantly snapped into its location between the two sims. I could now teleport elsewhere but my avatar would jerk and spasm uncontrollably and run very very fast in place, then suddenly fall down over and over like it was falling from a high point. Just really weird uncontrollable stuff. And when I'd go near my land - and the point of the original crash, yep - I'd snap right back to the phantom crash point.

So I had a friend float right where my phantom was and I created an Slurl. I offered this on the Support Ticket as requested and that was hours ago.

It has now been 11 and a half hours since I first got stuck, 9 hours since I contacted LL to help me and I'm still stuck.

I am infuriated because I have a premium account and am in the process of Rez Fauxing several buildings and skyboxes I spent the last 6 weeks custom building to sell and I have been flat out unable to do a dang thing all day and LL didn't even have the courtesy to go to the location where my avatar is stuck and do anything about it yet.

If you're bored and want to stare at a phantom me that is not even online, go to the following Slurl (at least until they fix it):

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Snowbird/252/11/86

I've been stuck there just shy of 12 hours - even when offline.

This won't help, but it struck me that you have a very appropriate last name to be stuck in this predicament.

Sounds like you need a Linden to reset one or several sims.

I think you should be able to use the Live Chat system to help with this problem.

You have to go the support page and work your way through some questions, I think.

HaHaHa, if you could sell tickets for that ride it would be really popular. Seriously, I went thru a similar experience with an avatar who got stuck on the crossing next to my store. After days of trying everything, finally a Linden showed up and restarted the sim (mainland) and it fixed her.

Best wishes...R

Awesome, they restarted a sim, but was not the one I crashed in so I was still stuck, but I responded very fast asking them to restart the other sim where I originally crashed. They did and I'm FREEEEEEEEE at last.
Twelve hours and eight minutes held captuve. Whew....
