Problems with New Version Startup

Now, I know there was a similar thread posted below, but I tried everything suggested and none of it worked. Needless to say Im getting sorely irritated....
Nothing has changed on my computer recently other that the fact that this new "required" download for SL has succeeded in making it unaccesible for me. It comes up as frozen EVERY time. It will show up in the task bar and the top part of the browser screen will show, but no login nothing, just my desktop. If someone could help me, PLEASE I would be exceedingly grateful....

Well, it does appear you've missed the number one recommendation.

Your Radeon drivers are from 2004, according to your crash report. Please update them at ATI's website immediately.
