I am sitting on a plot of land that is supposed to be mine. However, it is not. The title of my main screen states that, yes, I am on my land. However, the view I have is of a river I am standing within, on the edge of a neighbors property.
We all get along well here, so I asked neighbors for information. One sees me, when I am at the land location, at home, standing outside my building. They do not see me, on their property, nor did they see when they pushed me. However, when I type, and I am on their land and they are way over on mine, we can hear one another.
Another neighbor steps in, and she sees me where I stand, at the river, and yet I can't hear her and she can't hear me when we chat.
We use IMs to talk about the situation.
I have reported this to many, and I have given up on help through other sources, so I have come here for help.
Does anyone have any clue how to handle such a thing? Being in two places at once (I am two dots on the screen (mini-map), but I am one dot on the large map) is very strange. I don't like it, and it's becoming something of a pain in the you know what. I like my house, my land, and yet I'm stuck in another spot. I can't build, I can't change my clothing, I can't move.
Anyone who has any insight into what I may do will be of great appreciation from me.
I have already tried:
Reporting this as a bug.
Removing SL and reinstalling SL.
Being banned from various neighbors properties in hope of being pushed home.
Trying to delete objects that hover around me while at home. (A hair piecer, some shoes, etc..)
Being pushed home by a neighbor. This only resulted in laughter more than help. :)
I'm a patient person. I can avoid home for a time, but why should I be miserable there?
So, I need help!
