What has happened to my login screen?

The stats in the top right of the screen haven't changed in three days. The SL time still says 9:11am PDT. The number of total residents has not increased over this time, and the number of residents "online now" either says 34,312 or 0. O_O
When I visit the SL website the same thing is happening in the economic statistics table on the home page. Even when I log into the website via my computer at work the same is still there, never changing. I logged into the SL site with my alt (as well as my main acc)on both my home AND my work computer: no change in the stats!!

Is it just me or is everyone seeing what I see?


Oh, and I'm also getting an error at the login screen: "Despite our best efforts........."
I've cleared every cache, deleted every temp file, uninstalled and reinstalled SL.
I still can't log in :?

LL breaks alot of random things, so not to surprised it hasnt been fixed yet, shows 0 for me to but i never really pay attension to it.

You could try setting login location to another sim may get you in instead of that msg

preference / general / [ ] show Start location on login screen

then type in something like Ahern , see if that helps, if not reset firewall/trojan blocker/ect and let it ask if you want to let this program to connect /recive/send , could be blocked silently if anything thought it was suspect.

i love LL's blog, 100 max replies in minutes people using up the space by saying @ on a @ wich leaves not much space to even type on that thing.

Or the usual "comment off"

I have no problem logging in tho
