I've moved your post to Technical Issues, Usagi--where you're certainly free to explain more about what you've been experiencing. I'd like to clarify that as I explained in my previous reply to you, more info is certainly welcome. I'm totally in agreement with you about this. :)

From visiting the sim it looks like it may be content, looking at the sim times in statistics your getting alot of script use time quite offenly between 16-20ms considering the recommended total for all the times is 22ms this is quite a large chunk of the sims resources getting eaten up by scripts, combined with the sim seems to heavily occupated with agents is bound to cause some problems.

nath i am aware of those factors you are talking about. I am monitoring the status every hour........But facts are from past people living inthe sim complain about mcfee being on a crappy server to start with. Or maybe when LLabs added sims righ up to it back in i believe dec 2004. Heace factor otehr then those that are from the reading could be a result.

Mcfee is on a class2 sim, that means the sim is not sharing a server with any other region, the info in the statistics window is purely the results from that simulator which is a case for every region, the only way neighbouring sims can effect a region is object cross from them into yours and of course they will lower your local frame per second because you can see into those sims and render more.

You may want to check out across the road, there is a parcel with physics enabled pyramids suspended by hinges, these contain some kind of script, the constant movement of physics objects and their collisions may well be some of the cause

McFee has had serious issues since the beginnings of 1.07.
I know, I used to live there, but was forced to sell up and move on. At the time I could not move because it was like being in thick mud all the time, could not change clothes or build as nothing rezzed, and many times could not even see my own avatar.
I had Live Help in there several times a day to try to work out what the issues were. I was having massive time dilation issues, and Sim FPS issues. Script performance was appalling with large chunks of the sim resources being used by scripts.
One of the Lindens, (though I don't remember which one now) came to McFee many, many times to try to resolve the issues. The sim was restarted several times a day in an effort to keep it running in any vaguely useful manner. After a few weeks of this, their verdict on McFee was that most likely it was the Sex Club (which I had the misfortune of living next door to) that was the source of the problems in McFee.

Prior to 1.07 McFee was a beautiful, and totally non-laggy sim. But that changed when LL changed the way that SL deals with scripts in 1.07.

I have since moved on, and can happily say I am back to living on a beautiful, waterfront plot in a non-laggy sim.

the sex club is now spreading into Chong, where I live, yay! and they're constructing the most hideous architectural eye-sores i've ever seen. residents, there, used to take pride in their designs, and construct beautiful homes and such, now the whole neighborhood is going to hell with ugly crap, lag, and pervy newbs thinking they can just walk into my house naked, and jerk off on my roof. way to go, fellow neighbors, you're not annoying at all! you know, it's actually ok to take an art class.
