I know this may sound stupid but I was just thinking... If SL runs on linux, would there be a possibility of offering a LS Language compiler outside of SL itself? Setting up a PC with Linux is getting easier all the time and to have an out-of-SL compiler would really help in scripting time, instead of just doing the code on a "compatible" editor and then have to run it in SL to validate the code. And be nice, i'm just a newbie trying to figure things out...  |

why linux?

my original thinking was this... provide a smaller environment under Linux that would allow hub placements or anything related to the display on screen, to preview effects, tests weapons or engines in a smaller SL-like setup compiler but outside SL. Since SL is running on Linux I assumed (maybe wrongly so) that re-creating a smaller compiler would require the same OS environment and other stuff.
Now I can see why this could also not be provided, like I said ... just thinking out loud.
But TY VM for ur own Editor modif, this will help me greatly, the error codes you give are way more detailed that what the system provides and will do just fine for now.
