Just recently I have noticed that when I log in I begin in SL flying, and when I arrive somewhere from a teleport I am flying.
Certainly the former did not used to happen. Is this me, my settings, or a "feature" everyone is now enjoying?

I have noticed the same thing and it has only been since the last update or so. I thought it was just me lol.

Happens to me all the time. Seems more frequent, but happened every so often prior to the most recent update.

If you teleport and your above 5m above ground height you'll be set to fly mode, although what seems to be happening is when you enter a region and your above 5m above ground height you are set to flying, this happens when you login too and enter the region etc, you can reproduce this by standing on your house and relogging and then standing on the ground etc.
It was basically to stop people teleporting to the sky and then falling lol, just needs some tweaking me thinks
