Ooooh! My account has been disabled! <shudder>

It was a terrifying thing to see when checking my account page.... DISABLED!! PAST DUE!! BIG scarey red letters.... ROFL

It might have been more frightening, though, if I hadn't told LL over 2 weeks ago to cancel my account... they never got around to it, though... they just left the cancellation sitting in the "pending" state.

OOH, OOH!! AND, they are going to bill my PayPal for the past due amount... again, I ROFL!! They didn't bill my PayPal when the amount was DUE, that's why I CANCELLED them... an empty threat at best.

My ticket on the subject still sits with a "NEW" status... and my comment from each day it has gone unanswered, casting various aspersions upon LL, their employess and their familial relationships... and still nothing...

Ooh, the great fear and trepidation I feel over my account being disabled!! I tremble at the though of not being able to log into SL and enjoy .... well, enjoy... wait, I couldn't enjoy anything before... my inventory was gone, I couldn't buy Lindens, I couldn't TP

I guess that BIG RED THREAT to disable my account really wan't so much of a threat after all... :D

Goodbye, Linden Labs.... may the last person leaving SL turn off the lights and shut down the servers... as screwed up as you all are, they might start a fire if left running any longer... and you all enjoy your lives in South America with the money you DID manage to sucker people out of...

What a joke of a "business"...

Have you tried to clear cache and then log back in? Maybe some bad stuff in the cache. If that doesn't work, you may need to contact support via a ticket.

When it first happened, I was very upset, but seeing the state things are in now, I know I was lucky to be one of the first and just find the whole thing too funny for words. Any other business run the way LL is run would have been bankrupt by now... they just haven't exhausted their supply of "fresh meat" yet... but the decline has started, and not long thereaster, the fall... Those who should truly be pittied are those coming in now...
