Video again - two people seeing the same video/ horribly slow when adding custom URL

Ok, video again, I know.. have done my reading, still don’t get it.

So I bought my big fancy dancy video screen have had two problems.

1) How do I get it so that if I have more then one person in my house we can watch the same video at the exact same time? As it is now they start the video and I start the video and we see it at different points in the movie depending on when they clicked play. Worse yet they get cutouts and stop while I don’t so then we are really out of synch.
I realize some of the technical issues here with respect to streaming but I was in a public area once where they were showing a video and about a dozen of us were watching the same thing at the same point in the video.

2) Adding my own video and frame rate drops to .06 fps. I bought a movie and followed the rules, added the URL to my media tab and frame …….rate………..went……..to……. .06…….fps. So I had to go back to the default player from the video screen to get my frame rate back. Alrighty then, any thoughts !? Thanks ahead

Only way to view something at same time , is to make them have video on so they see it, then restart it should start same time as you.

Start video
make sure everyone can see it
restart it (just start another and go back to same to work)

( changing vid urls here and there always crash my client eventually tho -.o )


fps eh depends, box yourself in to see if occullation kicks in , or reinstall quicktime (yes for the 59595 time) and restart pc.

Wonder how many times i reinstalled the same version to make qui behave in SL now -.-
