Can't LOGIN!????

Anyone else having issues with logging in?
I get to the part of setting to region and it never goes beyond that, it gets stuck. I have been trying for over an hour without any success. I tried downloading the current version, uninstalling reinstalling, and actually rebooted my computer as well as system restore all to no avail. WTF is going on?

im having the same problem I have logged on with 38K people on and havent had a problem!!! I dont understand why with 36K why its a big deal

Same here, been trying all day, picking different regions, and still cannot log in, yet friends of mine log in with no problem. This is seriously annoying me. I am about to scream if I see Log in failure much more. Why is it I can't log in, but other people I know can without problem?

It's now midnight in my part of the US, and I never was able to get on. I just tried. At least you get a LOGIN failure, I can't get past setting to region without it freezing. I don't know wtf to do. I had a friend come over and she logged in with my PC on SL without any problem on her account. So that shows it's not my pc or connection or anything but my account.

actually its only midnight on the east coast ... so its just the end of primetime for the rest of the us but that doesnt really matter does it ...

i havent had any issue logging in tonight but when i am in there the asset server seems to be draggin soo much ass its not really all that great

in linux when i try to save a script it just locks the client up, in windows trying to load contents from a prim it just sat there for well over 45 min before i got pissed and gave up

im trying to get stuff done on a personal deadline, eventho it wouldnt kill me to miss it, it will hack me off becuase this is not my doing, login problems, asset server issues and just general bog

its been a complaint since SL started but every weekend its now a futile attempt

Yeah... I've been having that problem constantly now. 'Still logging me out' it says. Then the ONE time it started connecting to the region, SL crashed before even getting to see my wonderful pixels. Dx

And mind you, there aren't even 20k people on either.

I'm going to punch my monitor if I see "System is logging you out" one more time. Then it says you have to wait another 5 minutes, just to get the same message. I've not been able to login for about 30 minutes now.

This, after losing yet another "no copy" item because it just didn't return to my inventory when I picked it up.

Sure enough I just created an alt and logged in, went to where I last was and I'm standing there!
This must explain why my friend and neighbor has been standing in one spot FOR HOURS (unheard of) and hasn't acknowledged me.
