I don't really understand whats going on, all I know is attempting and trying to contact Live help doesn't work when I crash just in time to see myself rezzed and try to open up an IM.
It started yesterday when I went to switch hair i was editing to fit my head (usually i don't have to but for this set i did). It happened with all my hair so I doubt the hair is junk, especially when I bought this long ago from quality stock.
Anyhow, I will go to edit, putting hair on is just fine. Taking it off or switching it with another however, sends me into a frozen state to the point the whole pc crashes, if not just SL has to be shut down with the ctrl alt del option. This was only the first time.
I've done nothing short than doing a virus check, spyware/malware, etc, and of course found nothing.
Restarting the pc still has this happening. I was able to IM a friend (this was before I wanted to talk to livehelp) and let them know that i had crashed in a bizarre way when it happened again right after switching hair. This is when i saw the pattern.
I have sent in crash reports, (you know when it asks you to when trying to load the client) but nothing seems to resolved this issue, and I really wanted to finish some work i was doing in SL (like everyone else I imagine, especially after todays epidemic).
But if anything, if anyone has an answer to this, please let me know? I doubt its my graphics card, the only problem it gave me was loading slowly. This is only happening by switching attachments. Help if possible, thank you.
