Hello,

As many others have reported, there is a lot of crashing. I have crashed at least 45 times in a 3-hour time period. Ask me all the questions you want "Did you update your graphics card?," etc. -- I've done them all -- even the avatar vertex program. Sorry, but this is becoming ridiculous. I'm actually scared to touch any objects anymore due to this.

Thanks in advance for your anticipated quick and helpful response,
V

Moved to Technical Issues.

Good you did all that Vincent--you also must be sending in all your crash reports, right?

As it's just recently after the cusp of Second Life 1.10's release (and patches coming shortly thereafter), the crash reports are going to help us figure out what's going on.

There'll be more developing on this, so please keep checking Announcements & News when we've got more info.

For personal assistance, other Residents can reply here with similar experiences, and you can always contact Support.

Best of hope.

Sent in reports. Etc. I think Dee helped me fix a lot of it -- had to turn off firewalls, even though they were set to have the ports open. It seemed to fix it, but then while walking...you know what I'm about to say...I crashed.

Crashing

Since the latest upgrade of SL (1.10.0.34) I too am afraid to touch my PC to do anything to do with the internet.

If my machine crashes while I'm in SL; when I quit I find I no longer have any internet functionality, so its like I cannot get any online help at all or do any other internet based activity. The strage thing is: I don't get an "automated crash report" popup, it's as if the computer is unaware of the situation.

Quite often I have found that the machine has crashed long before I realise and when I do it's because IM'ing doesn't work or I cannot control my Av in a forward or reverse direction.

I've tried ping tests, disabling firewall, anti-virus and security softwares, replacing the IP adddress, I even formatted my system drive and re-installed everything starting with the OS. I'm feeling really lucky that I can even type this message right now.Hehe
