Problem with streaming...

That site has alot of great streaming movies but when i try to stream it with the .mov link, it gives me "needs blank.jpg" to run or something. Very weird. Was wondering if anyone knows how to stream those movies?

If you are trying to do this from your rental on our group land, you need us to put the texture into the lot in a texture picker. We have a standard one but if you have one you'd prefer please send it to me. Then when I put in that texture, along with your video URL, pressing on that texture on the movie device should make it stream. However...this doesn't always work perfectly, some sims lag, other times it is something to with your own computer...anyway I will check it out later but in general, I'd like to ask anyone who is making the movie scripts if they have tested them on group land, with the object deeded to group.

There is one that we did get to work that has a free script in it.

Well i have streamed other stuff from the group land with no problem. And i have seen one of the movies streamed somewhere else. They just didn't want to tell me how they got it to work :/

Make the object, place the script...

Edit the script and do share with group (so group can see and edit)..

Deed the object to that group...

Done, should work fine on group land now..

Should work, doesn't on every sim. Go know.

A sim is a sim is a sim...so makes no sense that does not work on all sims..

Did you check, share script with group? did you deed it to the group that owns that land?

I did I on about 6 different lands, all different sims, all group owned, and never had a issue, so does work on all sims..

With that site make sure you are copying the download shortcut and not the stream one. It will usually be show with a filesize.
