Is anyone else running Vista and IE7 and not able to see ANY PNG images on websites such as on http://www.second life.com ? There are some brokem images there and they are in fact PNG's.

I noticed on websites that display images via script where the image properties show as a php, asp, or other non image file but points to a PNG image that the image just does not show up...blank space.

I tried resetting my browser settings but that did not work and there does not appear to be an installer for IE7 for Vista so I do not want to attempt to uninstall it...I think its attached to the frikkin OS!

Anyone else having this problem?
Thanks,
Maddy

Nevermind I fixed it.

Right click on the icon for IE and click "Run as Administrator".

Not sure why I have to do this for every other program in Vista when I am the Administrator and there are no other users on my PC! /shakes fist a Bill!

its because png images are evil by default and must be held at bay by the vista UAC.:D
