I've tried and tried and my log in screen just keeps freezing up... it looks like its loading then just crashes. IS SOMEONE SORTING THIS OUT?!?!?! Most of us pay money to be on this grid and we can't get onto it.

Having problems logging in as well... after about a 2 minute freeze it comes back telling me the system is loggin me out, and says I can try back at a certain time (5 mins)... Problem is, it's been telling me this for 30 minutes and continues to change the time I can try again.

Same here. New user having the same problem as you, also from England (not sure if this makes any difference). Only able to use Second Life for 1/2 an hour then had some texture problems when changing appearence (no eyes) so logged off, now can't get back in without the program crashing when I log in.
