People are coming in grey to me, and they stop grey for the whole time I am
talking to them.
The other thing is that bought items, such as avitars, are not unpacking from
their boxes anymore.
You get the warning that they are non copyable and can only ne moved,
select ok, but the items are still in their boxes and not in your inventory.
I met someone with this problem earlier, a newbie who I tried to help.
And then I bought an avitar by Jakkal [The Werehouse] which did not unpack.
As a side note, we have a dutch style windmill on our sim and I notice it's
spinning about twice as fast as before the two last updates.

Work-around: EDIT the item, and manually copy the contents from the Contents panel into your inventory. I was having the same problem with recent purchases not unpacking into my inventory correctly. Thanks for posting the work around. Hopefully this will be fixed in the near term.

Did any of you also tried to simply copy an item they have in their inventory and then put it somewhere else still in their inventory? because it looks to me like we can't copy items period, not only unpack or copy new items to the inventory. As I mentioned in my post in this thread I tried to Copy and Paste some of my own items and it doesnt work at all, and Edit doesnt work either, I tried to change a description for one of my items and it didnt stick at all either, and I'm talking about my very own items that I made with my own textures too.

The problem of not being able to take items from boxes into your inventory has been happening for about a week now.
1. Drag the item (box) unto the ground like you usually do.
2. Click edit
3. Go to Content.
4. Now drag each item (not the folder) into your inventory.
This works and it's the only way I know of that you can use at the moment to take items into your inventory after you buy them.

It might work for a box you bought before update .. but what about those of us who has it set to deliver contents? Our packages are going out in just an empty folder, or those I have tried to do came that way. Really going to be a pain going back and changing all my boxes to sell a copy.  |
