You or your ISP may be banned or blocked. Best bet is to call customer service.

That message means either your account or IP has been banned or suspended. The usual cause of this is that you did something, were abuse reported, and the Lindens suspended you. Less commonly, they may have banned an IP and you're now on it. If you have a dynamic IP, release/renew your IP and try again. If it's still saying you're not able to access, contact Linden support.

Buying accounts for other people, receiving accounts from others, or sharing accounts, will do it as well. (These are all against our TOS, incidentally.)

If you share login information with another person (be it you logging in with their account, them logging in with yours, having common login locations regardless of who was at the keyboard at the time, etc.), and their account receives security blocks for abuse, fraud, or use of, or registration by, Second Life by a minor, you may get caught up in the blocks as well.

I had this happen to me once. I have 2 computers and it wasnt working on the better one, but it was working on my laptop. It turned out that when I was trying to sign up for an alt account, I accidentally put my birthdate in the year 2005, lol. All I had to do was call CS and they fixed it. Make sure you call them, not email them. It gets done instantly when you call... who knows how long it'll take for them to email you back.
