I have installed Second Life Voice First Look, and now I cant get any media sounds come thru. This is from the normal Second Life application as well as the Voice application now. I do hear the back ground sound but when I go anywhere where there is live music I cant hear it. I have re-enstalled QuickTime so I know its the latest version. Is there anyone that might be able to help me?.

I went to a 'live' concert when using FirstLook and couldn't hear diddly squat... checked every setting under the sun.. changed to the normal viewer and checked the settings, they were identical, but now I could hear things.
I seem to have an issue with the voice thing as well.. FirstLook seems to be either borked for some setups, or has some hidden settings not available to the naked eye LOL...
FYI I have been dealing with computers for some 20+ years, build them, bork them, fix them, rebuild them, even programme them.... but SL isn't for techie ppls... just those with a lotta patience..

all drivers are up to date, and I guess then by the sounds of it (no joke meant there) I will just have to wait and see what happens.. Thanks for ur advice  |
