New Athlon 64 mobo/proc - good for SL?

Hey all,

I'm thinking of getting the following:
- ASUS Athlon 64 mobo (Vintage-AE1 I think)
- Athlon 64 3400+ 2.4GHz CPU
- SATA HD

Adding in my current:
- nVidia FX5200 256MB AGP (I know, not the best, but works)
- 2GB DDR RAM

EDIT: This is replacing:
- Sempron 1.6GHz
- Crap board, I imagine
- IDE HD

Think this will do well? Thanks in advance for tips/opinions.

Yep, you'll be fine. I have the same set up.

I added a new fan, a bigger power source, new vid card and some more RAM

it's wonderful :D

Oh, and I added my old HD, so now I have 450 GB worth of space to use ;)
