Hello everyone I'm new to SL, and I'm having a problem getting the game to load on my main computer. I believe it doesn't meet the System Requirements (it's giving me a message about my Intel chipset driver as well as my graphics card). I am unsure how to check all the things on my computer that are required. I apologize for asking this here. I've tried figuring this out myself, but nothing happens when I've tried using the search function for this issue (it works fine on other search queries though, very strange hehe). I've even tried googling this and it's not being very helpful I made a character using my second computer and really enjoyed playing, but I so want to play on my main computer. If anyone has the time and wouldn't mind walking me through how to check my system hardware and software on my main computer I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you very much for the link Toy I'm actually having a problem figuring out whether my computer matches the specifications in that link. Is there somewhere on my computer that will tell me what my hardware and software specs are? (i.e. what kind of processor and graphic card my computer has so I can compare it to what's required). This computer was built for me, so I haven't the faintest clue what my hardware/software is or how to find it, which is what I was needing help with

Open the System control Panel (Control Panel > System or right click My Computer > Properties), Your processor and memory will be displayed there. Next go to the Hardware tab and click the Device Manager button. Drop open the display adapters and that's your graphics card, if it says Intel (or anything else that isn't Nvidia or ATI) then SL isn't going to work on that computer.

Right on Anastase, thanx Toy and AJ for helpin'!
Also... in SL... you can click on ABOUT button when it starts up, or HELP menu ---> ABOUT SECOND LIFE and that will give some info too. Not as detailed about your whole system, but it's a start.

Thanks so much Torley...I think my computer has some files that were damaged because I'm having problems unrelated to the game (I had to do a bunch of spyware/virus removal..was not fun hehe)..so I'm going to have to fix that before I really can tell if my computer needs more tweaking. At least I can play though..and it's way more awesome than I thought AJ I am most definately having fun! Is it normal though for things to go in and out of focus as you're standing there? My face/clothes and things in the background will get blurry sometimes and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong lol
