Multiple Logins broken?

I occasionally use the "-multiple" login switch in order to to take photographs and test whether "buy" items are set properly, and other perfectly innocent, legitimate uses where having more than one account logged in at a time is necessary.

However, I just tried it on a PC where it has successfully worked before, only to have all sorts of problems - the "visible textures appear on clothing and flash manically" bug, several crashes, and one hangup that hurt so bad I couldn't even shut down Windows.

I'm aware that the "multiple" extension was part of how the "Copybot" thing worked ... so I'm just wondering whether, in your work against Copybot, you may have inadvertently introduced some form of detection against multiple logins that broke all use, rather than those using hacked clients?

I've used this a lot myself to test, Lewis; I haven't personally run into problems, but... please check with other Residents and send a bug report from Help menu > Report Bug if you've got a solid repro.

MY advice Lewis. Try rebooting your PC totally. I find I CANNOT run multiples unless I do it just after my PC is rebooted. THis included my old PC that COULD do it at any time AND my brand new, faster, big, better, ZOMG this is great computer. I personally congradulate you if you logged in even as normally if I do not reboot I can't past the login status bar.
