A friend of mine wants to join SL but keeps getting disconnected.
Can anyone please suggest what he can do. I have told him to reduce shinyness and a few others in Preferences but what would you suggest?

There are a lot of different things that can be causing problems and there's no way to make a useful suggestion without more information about your friend's computer, home network, ISP, and the specific symptoms of the disconnection. But another general suggestion is to make sure that the video drivers are up to date. |
