Nvidia's SLI site does not show Second Life as an SLI optimized game.
http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone2_game.html However, I am running a GF 6800 on an Asus A8N-SLI motherboard with no problems. _____________________

Thanks for the feed back, I like to know if a game is setup to use the Multi GPU rendering or not. For the ones that don't I like to enable the SLI Anti-Aliasing. So the 2nd card is doing something
![]() Far as CPU goes, I have a Athlon 64 4000+, it handles things pretty well. Thanks again! |

I got the impression from the linked site that the games listed just have optimised setting presets.
NVIDIA® SLI™ can be enabled for every gaming application. However, in order to provide the optimal 'out-of-box' experience for its customers, NVIDIA has also created an extensive set of over 150 custom game profiles which enable SLI automatically and optimize scaling performance. _____________________

I've created SLI profiles manually for There and Second Life. They do make a difference.

back when i had sl (lol 3dfx voodoo 2's) it was a seamless operation for every game, and they too had their little sli optimised list, which added a few fps ontop of the ram/speed bonus you already got. now if you will excuse me im gonna go play wing commander on my 386 (kidding)

Oops, I'm on my Mac G5. I'll reply in greater detail when I reassemble my 6800U SLI box this coming week.
IIRC there's a button on the SLI profile selection page, called something like create or edit or new. You create a profile and assign it an .exe file. Then you check/uncheck the settings for AFR, texture clamping, etc to conform to your wishes for that .exe application. _____________________
