YOUR VOTE IS NEEDED ON ISSUE SVC-114 (INVENTORY LOSS) POSTER: HOW TO VOTE: 1) Visit the URL below, it is SecondLife's Bug Tracking web site, JIRA. 2) In the left column, under "Operations" click 'logged in' to log in. 3) Enter your full SL Av name in the first field (including a space in between first and last name), and your password in the second. Keep in mind, the server runs a bit slow, take your time and let it load. 4) After log in, you will be taken back to the SVC-114 page. Look in the left column again, under "Operations", Click "Vote" located at the very end to vote on SVC-114. URL: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-114*We can complain all we want to in the blogs and on the forums, but, let's spend some of that energy on this issue. It's a shame, inventory loss affects all residents, but yet there are only 100+ votes to have this fixed.* POSTER: VOTE ON SVC-114: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-114

Heading off to vote as we speak.
I, personally do believe voting in JIRA helps better than posting here *repeatedly* about problems. Since they fixed the Dutch ISP issue of a few months ago, which was a rather big issue since it kept quite some thousand players out of the game for a good 2 and a half weeks. Which was the top voted issue a few months ago when it happened, I do believe they keep an eye on JIRA. But to each his own, I suppose.

*Pokes Thili and snuggles* Well I've voted on it for what it's worth Large areas of my inventory have just 'disappeared' over the past few months... clothes, items, attachments all manner of things seemingly at random, sometimes one instance of an item is missing when an identical copy is available, but in many cases I'm missing many random parts of outfits or complex items - we are talking *hundreds* of items here frankly unless something has been used recently it's a bit of a lottery, almost 50/50 whether an item is going to be there ! I think it may have happened since my inventory was transferred to a 'faster database' some months ago, not sure though. At first items would eventually turn up after a long wait, but then it became evident that an increasing amount of stuff was gone for good. It's been very irritating for a long time. Anyhow, I'm not in world at present 'cos my main computer has toasted, but when I get back I'm sure nothing will have changed *sighs*
