contacting LL

I have sat at a couple of different Linden offices to try and get some technical questions answered, however they were no-shows. How do i contact LL's directly? What EXACTLY is SL running on. I have asked a similar question on other forums, but there were no concrete answers. How many processor chips is 1 sim run off of? At this point i would love to direct all of my questions to LL, if i could only find them.

The only official ways of contacting LL is via the 1-800 numbers or by email. You can try IMing Lindens in world but your milege will vary.

All sims run off of one 'core'. I beleive class 3 servers are dual core machines and class 4 and 5 sims are quad core machines. So repectively, 2 sims per server, and 4 sims per server. I think there was a blog post back when they were rolling out the class 5 sims that had more detail (Novemberish).

thank you Dnel, i will give those options a try. If that does'nt work, i was thinking of saying LL's three ties to see if they appear. Thank you again.

class 3 servers are dual? Arnt class 3 AMD? and arnt part of the class 4 core 2 intel? then well course class 5 ? hummmmmmmm not sure about this.

Pretty close but with a small geeky difference - class 3 servers are dual processor and class 4 & 5 servers have twin dual core processors..

Class 3 and 4 are AMD Operons and Class 5 are Intel Xeons? I seem to remeber it that way
