I recently re-installed SL, and now everytime I boot it up i get the outline of the program booting up, and thats it. It *seems* to be frozen, but nothing will load inside the window of SL.
I have played on my machine before in the past, and have made no hardware changes.

Reinstall SL again..........from a fresh download. Don't use the one you just installled. Make sure you uninstall SL before you do the reinstall.........and also after uninstalling it do a search of your drive for anything Second Life and manually delete it.
Something's corrupted......make sure you have everything completely deleted before attempting to resinstall. Don't install from any auto installer directly off the internet either. Save to your drive, run your anit virus across it........normal security stuff. Then install while offline.
