SL wont continue working past start up screen

this manily somone installed somthing they shouldnt have on my computer while i was at school... but anyway.. when i get the loaidng little box doone the screen comes up and right away the game freezes... also my internet is real slow and firefox wont work.. *hates internet explorer* anyone know whats going on and what i should uninstall or fix?

i figured it out.. its not likeing firefox apperntly.. *grrs*

firefox only works when SL is uninstalled.. but SL still wont work if firefox is uninstalled

ive had them both installed for years with no issues, so ... theres something bigger going on behind the screen

i checked my drivers adn that and there up to check...i finnaly got firefox to work even with SL installed but SL just wont work T_T

You mean it freezes at the screen where you have to enter your name and password?

I'm getting the same except it crashes and opens crashreporter... My poor friend (whose pc is the one having trouble) has been waiting a week now to try out SL.
