Log In Only to Crash when TPing

What's the point of spending time trying to log in when what happens is you try to teleport and crash anyway? Back to the hour long wait? I think NOT. I truly hope that LL is going to offer some compensation for this ongoing mess.

Doesn't seem like they're going to. I've asked several times and the most I got back was an email telling me to keep trying to log in. Completely ignored my request for a partial refund.

I'm just waiting for the "You're a guest here, if you don't like it, leave!" mentality to stir up from those who feel complaining about it publically accomplishes nothing and want to strike out at _something_ to vent their anger. There's almost this quasi-moral high ground they feel they're taking. "How dare you criticise those who have cut off their own limbs to bring you SL???" ... it's so dissapointing to see so many people living in some unrealistic world where customers never complain and public relations doesn't exist, and companies never respond to complaining. It kinda indicates some sort of disconnect between a responsibility for ones actions and ... wait. People. Not wanting to be responsible... never.

I'd be surprised if they did. They did something a few months ago but then their bean counters must have revolted and they tripped over themselves to rush out announcements that they wouldn't do that again.

Anyway, I'm so f'ing clever. I crash TP'ing so I figure I'll fly my F-18 everywhere. IT NEVER CRASHES. NEVER SINKS INTO THE GROUND. If I get it up over 150M I am golden -- I can fly anywhere. So, I hop in it, get to the next sim and sure enough SL crashes. Five hours later I am still trying to login to SL and playing THERE on another computer. How pathetic; me playing THERE! I didn't even know that account was still active. LOL
