Okay, so here is the current issue, While playing my computer will "freeze" (the whole system) for between 2-10 seconds and then resume regular service. In addition to that most of the time this also causes the second issue which is for the SL screen to loose sight of objects, in order to fix this you have to click on something outside of the window and then re-focus on SL. This second issue also happens by itself without issue 1 happening aswell. The 4 attached pictures were taken within about 45 seconds because when this starts happening my screen will only stay alive for 5-10 seconds in between. The freezes are ussually 30-60 seconds in between.
Here are my specs.
AMD Athlon XP 2600+
1.5 Gigs of RAM ( Checked yesterday and its fine )
This happened with both my old Vid Card: GeForce FX5700 256MB
And with my new card: GeForce 6600GT 128MB
Tried adjusting settings in game to no avail
Windows XP SP1 w/ All Security/Updates
Only other programs running. DUMeter, MotherBoardMonitor, SteamClient, MSN, DirectoryOpus ( Have tried turning off all but MBM and DUMeter )
Video Drivers/MBoard Drivers/Sound Drivers have all been checked and updated
Anyone got any ideas?

Lots of people are having temp freezes, some (including myself) and getting repeated crashes. Not sure what help any of us can give you as most people reading this forum are here because they're having problems to. |

Are we going to get any response from the Lindens on this issue? I have not seen Lee post on any of these boards and it seems like its not just me having this issue.

Mine was doing same thing. Unfortunately I now have problem which I'm sure is unrelated..pure coincidence but last night was having massive problems with lag and assumed it was just Second Life. Unfortunately the entire system went down and my hard drive is dead, wiped. So..who knows if my problem with lag was SL or not..lol..I guess the 14 hours of withdrawal yesterday was just to prepare me for the week withdrawal ahead of me!
