I receive one of these messages at least once a week:
Your object 'Object' went off the world at <0.39,0.01,-0.38> in Chicagon. You can find it in your lost and found folder.
I got about 5 of those today. When I logged in world, the 'objects' were pieces of 2 chairs that were LINKED! How did they get unlinked and fall off the grid? There were not shared with group or set to allow anyone to move. I also got a message that a table had went off the world too, but it was still there.
Anyone else experiencing this? I sent a bug report and hopefully LL can tell me why it keeps happening.

These may have been objects recovered by the database tools that sweeps all accounts every so often to try and recover lost items, has the chair and table or parts of it ever been lost or not rezzed properly the first time?

hmm... no. Not that I know of. There were 4 chairs around a table. 2 of them were still there. They were all placed at the same time as well and were identical.

I'll try not to place anything for a week and see if this happens again anytime soon. Maybe that is what happened somehow.

I know how strange it is, a while ago for days in a row i would get some trees returned to me from a plot of land i hadnt owned in 6 months, i know i had removed all the objects when i moved, but still those trees appeared from somewhere lol |

Scripted Objects with Physics enabled All Retured

I had a similar issue yesterday, and was curious about the specific nature of what was returned to my lost and found folder. So many things were returned that my messages were capped. When I looked, I noticed that virtually every scripted object with physics enabled went offworld at the same time and got sent back to my Lost and Found folder. This happened on my Private SIM. To the best of my knowledge, it didn't go down, but I've certainly noticed a lot of abberrant behaviour since the last update. The last two days I've sent things to people that show up hours later. Same things as objects returned from a parcel. They seem to be unaccounted for for up to 4 or 5 hours, then suddenly show up in inventory.
Something up with the asset server?
