The best bang for the buck, bar none, is the Nvidia 6600GT 128. These cards usually will overclock to 6800 speeds and so far mine has worked flawlessly on my system and looks fantastic to boot.
Cheaper offerings are kinda limited for the PCIe, I have read the $70 6200 is a decent card and is considered equivelent to the 5700 which will run SL just fine.
I would avoid the ATI 9250 as its performance likely wouldn't be any better than the card you have now. They are roughly equivelent to onboard video on a lot of moboards and not that great.
