Ok, in the release notes it says it will reject objects and payments whilst in Busy mode.
What happens if your prime reason for being busy is because you're shopping and don't want to be disturbed?
If a Vendor script can't give the avie the object, how can it detect that? How can the Vendor script then refund the avie if it could figure out a failed transaction?
I think your solution to another problem has created another problem.
I have a bad taste in my mouth about this one, but congrats on the other changes.

This isn't a change -- inventory offers have always been denied while in busy mode. I've lost several thousands of dollars worth of items this way.

The point of busy mode is to block out interruptions, including potential spam inventory offers. Speaking from experience sometimes there is nothing more annoying than having a notecard or screenshot fill my screen when I'm busy building or scripting.
This release adds a new dialog box when you try to use 'pay' while in busy mode to alert you that if what you are paying tries to give you any inventory while you are still in busy mode you will not recieve it. This dialog also gives you the option to leave busy mode before paying and to not have the dialog box show again for the rest of the session.
Using 'Buy' to purchase items is not affected by being in busy mode.

Both of the new web-based shops could be affected by this. If you buy something on the SL Exchange or Gigas website while your avatar is in Busy mode, SL will automatically block the delivery.

We have a popup warning about this situation, but a lot of people don't read popup warnings. I think what we need is a way for LSL scripts to get a return code / status for llGiveInventory. As avatars we get a visual notification so I can't imagine it would be difficult to add an event for scripts to get the same information.

Does it mean that if a seller is Busy a buyer could attempt to purchase an item from a vendor and get it for free? You're killing me SL. I'm a very busy (read: always in Busy Mode) scripter.

I doubt it. Payments to owned objects appears to be separate from this.

I meant to do some tests on it last night but got involved with something else.
Has anyone got any testing done with regards to paying objects and busy mode?
When I was scripting the Vendor King and the Gift Voucher system I discovered a distinct lack of ability to check if objects were delivered. Please can we have an event which tells us if an inventory give was successful or not.
This Busy mode thing needs to be detectable perhaps. hmm, it's not already in the agent properties is it?
