So I've asked for my new password. Repeatedly. And no emails have arrived, even from my requests this morning.
To say I'm upset is an understatement, because now I need to wait until monday to get back in. Frankly, this whole setup has got me annoyed enough, along with other serious LL related issues that I keep encountering, to make me reconsider my payment to LL for continued service. As of now, I am being billed for time I'm not playing, because I need to apparently wait until *monday* to *call*.
So if I could get some sort of help, I'd love it. I won't, however, and will end up talking to someone over the phone. Since I can't even cancel my account without getting my new f'ing password.

sigh...I wish you HAD been kicked off of SL forever, you griefer! I wonder now, who was the wiseguy who suggested that you buy land right next to the ATF base, the very same group who defied your rule? You tried to control them, tried to get them to follow by your rules. You say that your group is based on a "realistic" military group. Gee, and yet you also say that the ATF has nukes, which DO exist in the modern world. Apparently, the ATF's lack of bowing to you is why you quarrelled with them in the first place, leading to them finally attacking you after you kept shooting them for no reason! Oh, wait, did I say "no reason?" I meant you shot them because, as I have said before, the ATF would not follow YOUR rules of war! Idiot, dont' you realize that (A) there are nuclear wepaons in the real world, so the ATF is more realistic than you are, and (B) why the hell should the ATF follow your rules? because you trained them? That does not qualify your rule over them. Just because you are the oldest group does not make you worthy of controlling other groups. You did the same thing with the Alien Invasion group, you set up a base next to theirs, and then you set up recruiting posters around their base. I am in the military in RL, and I must say that the Alliance Navy is the most disgraceful example of an "honorable" military! Also, about that so-called "navy" of yours...nobody has even seen your ships in action for quite a while, negating any show of your "navy" branch. *sighs* When will you people learn that you cannot introduce real-world ideas into an abstract (virtual in this case) world, and expect those ideas to integrate properly?

Before, I take my leave, Harlequin, if you would like me to send you a dictionary so that you can translate all those big words up there, just IM me.

Nuclear weapons exist in real life. That makes you more realistic? Let me elaborate:

The weapons owned by superpowers in the world are in stockpile, and at readiness. That does not mean, however, that they use them whenever a single platoon holds back an 'incredible assault'. To simplify, the fact that you use nukes in Second Life does not make you more relaistic. If it did, the world would cower in fear from an insane dictator that nukes 4 people because he can't get his men to shoot them.

No, I'd say we were more realistic. After all, we have the capability to craft weapons of immense destruction and yet choose not to use them. Why? Sake of humanity, I suppose. One slightly less realistic view is that nuking people poses no challenge. And in a game like Second Life (controversy attack!) you need challenge to keep things interesting. Why play to win when you can't have fun doing it?

Oh, and the absence of navy activity is a direct consequence of the mentality expressed directly above. Whenever they show up, they bomb the shit out of whatever's on the ground. Where's the fun in that? I suppose the reason why you've never seen them is that they only get brought out in the face of armies that pose a challenge. The last post was left in... October. Didn't the ATF crumble in November? Ah well Ares, at least you can keep going with SPAR... oh, that was pulled out from under you too, wasn't it?
