Ok I think I know the answer to this already, but since I just started playing Friday, I'll ask anyway.
Is there anyway to "force" the game to use two different sleeves? An exact example, I created a hockey jersey, and the numbers on the arms are correct on one side, but reversed on the other. I have yet to see a screenshot that shows an avatar with asymmetrical sleeves, so I'm guessing its not possible, but I just thought I'd ask incase anyone knows a trick or something.
Thanks -Jim

Unfortunately, no. There is only one arm on the template, therefore both arms are rendered from that one single section of the image. No matter what you do - add a pair of gloves, muddle through making half a jacket, using layers of clothing... it will always be mirrored and will always be whatever is on the one sleeve/arm. You'll note that this not only goes for clothing, but tattoos as well.
If there's a way around it, i've not heard of it to date.

You could however use prim attachments on the sleeves for the numbers.

Yeah I was thinking that earlier, but I dont know how to skin objects. Any good tutorials around? I'd really like to add a logo to my baseball cap that I built. I dont know how to account for the size of the object in a skin. If I could learn how to skin objects then that would be great. I'm still new Thanks -Jim

Jim, really its as simple as making up a jersey *without* numbers or logos on the sleeves, then have someone with a little texturing experience whip you up a number or logo on a transparency, apply it to a cylinder and wrap it around the arm on the proper side.

Or you could always use the good ole number "00".
