Just a quick question. I have been using Photoshop CS3 for a while now and have just started getting an error message that it can not carry out certain actions, such as apply a filter because of a "program error". Is this maybe because of the program or my machine. I run Windows XP sp3, 2.8GHz Pentium with 3GB of memory. My scratch disc is set to use a second installed hard drive with 86.41GB free and it uses 59% of memory.

For what it's worth, I'm using CS3 Extended on a machine with similar specs and am not having any problems like you describe. If your copy or the registry is corrupted somehow, you may have to reinstall it and hope that takes care of the problem.
