Making hair

making hair covers many aspects. You have to know the following first.

Building, making texture, laying textures, linking object, attaching objects.

You can get started at Prim College here in SL, just search for "Prim College" in find and drop by to see when the next class is.

Taz, I have been in SL for almost a year and while I've been ready to tackle a lot of things, building, scripting, even clothes, I don't think I'm brave enough to try hair just yet. Seeing how you just started this month, I would suggest learning some basics, like texturing and other prim manipulations. Robin Sojourner has a very thorough tutorial:
/109/61/53243/1.html

And there are some excellent in game:
Nusquama, Ivory Tower Library of Primitives, Noyo (198, 183)

But of course you could possess some hidden hair talents, but I've yet to see anything tutorial wise for hair, prim hair that is. I've always imagined it was a big secret handed down from Master Prim hair maker to the chosen few.

The most successful software company in the world does a piss-poor job on all these points. Particularly the first three. Why do you expect Linden Labs to do any better?
Yes, it's true, I have a blog now!
