SO so lost *blush* Okay SO, I started playing with the body forms, and well let's face it, I'm a fat girl. Where do we get the templates, skins, settings, whatever, to get these lithe sexy female body skins? Help? Very new at this =/

Hiya Otter Welcome to SL. You can adjust your shape, skin color, makeup, and hair in appearance mode. Right click on your avatar and select "appearance" from the pie menu. Play with the shape sliders. It can take a while to get a nice shape but you'll get better at it the more you play with it. The default skin and makeup leave a bit to be desired so many people use custom skins bought from various designers or make their own in Photoshop or a similar program. These skins are made of three individual textures, one each for head, upper body, and lower body. These are applied as tatoos in appearance mode. (On the left hand side of the "skin" tab there are three texture boxes. They're blank by default. Tatoo textures can be dropped there.). These textures are painted using templates that show what part of each image ends on where on the avatar body. LL supplies a set of templates in the download section of this website. There are also alternate templates that are a bit easier to use in the "free templates part 4" thread in this forum. Creating your own skin textures requires a good working knowledge of a paint program and a lot of practice, but is lots of fun. The default hair can be manipulated into a lot of different styles and colors. There's a hair template in the downloads section here if you want to try painting your own hair texture. It's a very confusing template to come to grips with though. Many people use hair that's built from SL's prims (the building blocks of SL) that's worn as an attachment. It doesn't deform to the body or move in the wind the way default hair does but much more complex styles can be created. There are some very talented hair makers in world who sell ready to wear styles. There's a wealth of information posted in this forum so searching the archive can often bring up previous discussions, tips, tutorials, and whatnot. Have fun!

And it's kind of embaressing. I and a friend were trying to come up with a pregnant body shape but it all comes out just looking fat, can you do that with prims? Like build a prostetic and attach? Playing with apearance just didn't come out looking right

I've not tried making a pregnant body shape, but if you really can't get it with the appearance sliders then a mix of them and a prim attachment would probably work OK.
The only draw back is that prims don't always move intuitively with the body so it might not be perfect in every pose.

Fatness seems to only go up to about 375-400 lbs. and when one goes that far, one's hands are always sticking through one's butt. Not a very usable default avatar.
I'm considering working on a "primatar" that looks heavier and whose arms would swing away from the rest of the body. Either that or I'll try to commission one.

All you would need to do is use one of Francis Chung's animation override scripts. Instead of putting the usual sexy* animations in it would you put custom animations for your avatar. I assuming you will need at least a walk, a few stands and maybe a sit and ground sit animation(s). You might have to commission those if you are not familiar with an animation toolkit.

It's possible to get my avie to look as I did at about 7 months, but getting that about-to-pop look of 9 months is beyond my slider skills or beyond the sliders capability. On the animation side, Cristiano Midnight has a wonderful set (in an Animation Overrider or singly) of animations, stands, sits, and walk, that work marvelously with a preggers tummy. His store is Anomations; check his "Picks" in his profile.
Regarding prims to handle any inadequacy of the sliders, the problem then is how to make the prim be clothed, as well as move properly. I have played with ways of trying to use prims to create sheath dresses and only been frustrated by the whole thing. I rather imagine that clothing a prim belly would be even more so, and may not be possible at all.
Finally, I noticed that when I stretched my belly to its 7 month size, a uniquely SL stretch mark showed up: whereas at my normal form, the belly seam is invisible, it becomes shockingly visible at my 7 month size. I didn't look at lesser sizes of tummy, but I imagine the problem is less, but there. There is some inequity in the UV mapping at this seam, no doubt this becomes hideously apparent at larger tummys. I have modified my skins for plump avies with no seam problem, so this pregnant tummy seam is a new one on me. I may go no further with it than to note the problem, I'm plenty busy with other work right now.
