Pixel edge problem with shoes

Hello people!

I have a question and I hope someone can help me, I am stuck and I dislike that xD

Anyway, I have a pixel edge problem. I am trying to make 'ballerina' shoes. Not real ballerina shoes but those cute flat shoes that are being sold worldwide at the moment.
Anyway here is a picture of what my problem exactly is:

You will see a part of the shoe I have so far with a purple pixel edge. I am trying to make an edge like they have in a reallife. But my problem is that I can't make the edges smooth on the round part.

I work with photoshop and paint shop pro. Does anybody know how to make the round parts smooth and not so blocky and pointy?

Sorry if this has been asked already. I couldn't find anything like this so I made this thread :)

Thank you for reading!

Looks like pixel smearing, caused by being too close to a change point in the UV mapping for the lower leg of the avatar. Try moving the edge of the shoe up or down just a few pixels. It may help a lot!

Thank you very much for your fast responde! I see what you mean and it's stupid I didn't think of it sooner as pixel smearing. Thank you, I will try it out :)

I realize by the way that I am actually making socks I think instead of shoes. I am using the lower body templates from here and secondlife.com. Is this the right way to make a shoe?

Shoes, socks, pants, and the lower half of the avatar skin all use the lower body template. So you are doing it right.

When attaching your texture to a newly made clothing item, if you make it a 'new shoes', then it is shoes, and socks can be worn with them. If you make it 'new socks', then I would not be able to wear my nylons under your slippers.
