Yeah i agree...as I have this problem.

Whats the solution? Is it making a background the same color as the outfit?

Wow this post is really helping others. The nice thing about these forums is that we can learn from each other. Do not ask questions without sharing your gained knowledge please.

From the subject that is still here, I think it is about the Halo artifact at transparant edges. There is an excellent tutorial from Robin Wood, covering this topic:

Hope this helps,

Sorry, I agree..please excuse my ignorance..

Basically, what I was doing (Photoshop CS 8.0) was after completing my outfit, I would make my alpha channel then switching back to the layers tab, making a pure black layer under all the clothing then saving and uploading. While that was fine to do with darker colors it left my lighter colors with a dark halo around the edges, never realized why.

So..What did I do to fix that? Basically I'd fill that black layer in with the main color of the garment I was working on, so if I had made a pink shirt, I would then fill in the 'Full Black' layer with pink, the same as the shirt. Seemed to have fixed the problem.

Sorry again, and sorry I am bad at explinations as well, hope this helps others.
