To everyone who was in my clothing class

as you know, SL crashed on us. I tried to get back on and got a message that SL was down for maintenance.

The class materials were in the blue bolt of cloth near the screen. If you don't have it let me know and I can send you a copy. The entire class is in it, along with the pictures and handouts.

Also, if anyone is willing to host my tutorials, I will make this class into one along with a couple of other courses that I use in teaching. We can upload them for future students to use.

Besides, the basic course and the polo shirt tutorial, I have a couple of step-by-step picture courses on making clothing articles from start to finish. I am willing to upload all of them to a server.

Tanath, I too am sorry for the grid to have crashed on us. However, that is typical of what I have been experiencing for the last few months. I love giving the class. I think I have helped people over the last 15 months. However, SL is not the place it use to be for me.

When I came here in Aug of 05 it was exciting and fun. It was a world of endless possibilities. We seldom ever crashed. It was small enough to see almost all of it and, you met and knew most of the people. Now I can’t remember a single time I have been on, in the past several months, and not crashed two or three times within the hour. We didn’t have point-to-point teleporting then. You had to TP to a portal, then fly to your destination. But, it worked. Sometimes, nowadays I can’t even TP to my own home.

I know I sound negative. I don’t want to be negative. The answer to your question is no. Not any time soon, at least. The end of the school year is always a busy time for teachers. That and my pending marriage have shoved SL into the background. When you add the trouble doing anything in-world well, I guess it is time for a SL sabbatical.

I do plan on turning all of my tutorials and courses into pdf files that can be downloaded. Rachel Darling has offered to host them for me. I can give you a copy of the entire text along with the picture/slides and handouts. They were all in the blue bolt of cloth that was available for copying. If you didn’t get it, IM me and I will get it to you. This applies to anyone else who wishes to have the material.
