Is it possible for avitars to wear multiple layers of clothing- for example a skirt with a second skirt underneath it? If so, how? When I try to drag a second skirt on, the first one morphs into to the second one. Is there a reliable workaround?
Thanks,
Olympia

Sorry, Olympia -- that's not possible. We're currently limited to one type of clothing article per avatar. (one skirt, one jacket, etc) If you want to have a layered look, the best bet would be to create a graphic that displays the look you want, then upload the graphic as a single texture and make that into an article of clothing. I've seen designers who do this very nicely -- I'd say check around and see if they would be willing to create the look you want, unless you want to create it yourself.

I wonder. If someone suggests stretching the underwear slider to be a slip, (in addition to the skirt) would Xenon roll his eyes? In reality, I also wonder if thats not asking for more texture stretching nightmares.

Another way to fake it in certain instances is by using the properties of the types of clothing that already overlap. For example, you could have up to four layers on your upper body (jacket, shirt, undershirt, body tattoo which could look like clothing) and three layers on your lower body (pants, underpants, body tattoo) plus a skirt if you wanted. Additionally, shoes go quite high up the legs and gloves go past the elbows.
Just remember that the clothing types are not enforced. They can all pretend to be something else.
