Starting point for making skin

Hi everyone. I have been searching this forum over looking for a good starting point for making skins and so far I haven't found what I'm looking for. I'm pretty seasoned in Photoshop having used it for about 15yrs now. Currently I do custom photography in SL and I have made some clothing before that. So I kinda know the basics of templates and the frustrations of seams and what not. I am also prepared for the investment of time it takes to make high quality skin however long that may take. What I'm looking for is maybe a tutorial, or even better and example of a finished skin although not sure that on is possible. I'm looking for pointers on shading and things like that. If someone would be willing to share a finished .PSD version of a skin that would be AWESOME. If not I understand the reservation of a request like that.
