Under Edit Appearance > Pants, the last slider, Pants Wrinkles, has no effect. The same thing for the Shirt Wrinkles slider under shirts. Any ideas why? I've created a new pants and applied the colored UVs image as the fabric texture.

From what I recall, it's not a very obvious effect, and you may need a more solid texture than a template grid, or different lighting conditions, to see any effect from that one. I don't use it, myself. If I want a wrinkled clothing item, I paint the wrinkles as part of the texture.
