Hi, all. I am designing my avatar, and I am trying to figure out if you can put a hat on your avatar, or a bandana or scarf.  I am a major newbie to this...I also would like to know if you can put your hair into a ponytail or braid, or to pin it up. I'd really appreciate any and all help, thanks so much! --Sarai |

Helo sara, I made a bandana that I been using with my flex hair ,, it looks great and I love it. let me know when ur IW and I will gladly give it to you. its mod and u can paintit or add any texture.

A hat, scarf or bandana is usually made of prims, and is attached to the head.
The default Linden hair can roughly be formed into a pony tail, but the result isn't very good.
Robin Sojurner sells a nice pony tail hair, that uses hair on the head and a prim ponytail, and which has several different forms of ties (rubber band, leather cuff, scarf tie). I can highly recommend her work as one of the nicest looking low ponytails that I have seen in SL.
